Colibrí Bisou: Born and raised in Barcelona, Spain, being surrounded by art and artists was not strange to my upbringing. I carry the Mediterranean essence plus the Californian luminosity in my drawings and way of see things. My real name is Carmen, but a friend created this new name that I adopted as mine, Colibrí (hummingbird in Spanish) as I like colors and flowers and it sounded exotic to me, as we don't have these little birds where I grew up and they abound in the Bay Area! Living in SoCal for more than a decade opened my eyes to color and that is reflected in my whimsical, joie-de-vivre, storytelling style. Currently enjoying the tech-artsy life of Silicon Valley while in the pursue of daily mini adventures.
