Riding the fatty in Coyote Hills - Fremont
Biking, biking and more biking! With luscious green mountains, water everywhere, plenty of people and also isolated areas to browse and discover. I was amazed by this awesome park and so happy an ex colleague who used to live in Fremont told me about it.
Totally the best gem I have seen so far in the East Bay. It took us only around 20 minutes to go from North San Jose, and if you park in the 'bicyclists area' then you don't have to pay the entrance fee (which is always suggested anyways so we all help support these fantastic parks systems we enjoy year around).
I enjoyed the variety of the landscape, and mostly we did the flat trails, but is both good for cruise and mountain bikes. I have to say I am so jealous of the people who live across the street from this huge park. Sometimes they don't realize what gorgeous landscape they wake up to everyday!
