The very secluded Zmudowski State Beach

Today going to Sunset and Moss landing beaches noticed a Polish sounding name "Zmudowski"and decided to do a detour and check it out. I had never heard of seen or nothing about Zmudowski State Beach and now I know: 1) it was name after a teacher of the area who donated land back in the 50s (maybe the teachers back then made a decent salary to live in this super expensive area, no wonder that they cannot find teachers, pay them well!), 2) It is one of the few nudist beaches out there, although it was so cold I decided not to #freetheniple and just enjoy the dunes; 3) you can fish tons of species there, including salmon; 4) Every year this beach recedes 2 feet due to dramatical coastal erosion, so enjoy it while it last; 5) Totally free; 6) you will see no one or someone fishing from really far; 7) you can horse ride (bring your own horse, nothing for rent, nada; 8) it is the quintessential Californian beach: cold, foggy, wild...loved it!
