Santa Clara looking at Alviso

Views views views...maybe you are not that much into the view to the train or the valley full of companies, but this very modern, hipster hotel is located at a hill with (for me) great views and sun, plus it so cute that you want to stay in the balcony or at the bar for happy hour or meeting with friends. I haven't stayed overnight as I live around but been there for seminars and other meetup events and it is very pleasant and since everything is new and colorful, I feel like in a mini-vacation. Staff is very friendly, last time I went I found out that my former trainer at the apartment complex I used to live is the instructor for the Cardio & Cocktails meetings at the terrace, which they offer for free to guests (and small fee to non guests) every other Wednesday. Perfect hotel for happy hours at their bar.

A little bit further uphill from the Aloft hotel you will find this brand new sports complex where you can also do picnics and gatherings. I guess is mostly for the people who work in the companies nearby, bu not one prohibited my colleague and I wandering around. We could not find the beginning of the trail we wanted to walk, but the views very fantastic. It is like we found the 'Silicon Valley beach'.
